Taylor brings to Yacht North Group over 25 years of practical
on-water experience. A holder of a USCG 100-ton Master license
with a sailing endorsement, he has skippered yachts of all
sizes and has cruised extensively the waters between Newfoundland
and South America. His logbook shows entries from a Trans-Atlantic
crossing and nine Newport to Bermuda ocean races. His favorite
cruising grounds remain Down East Maine and the waters of
the Windward and Leeward islands of the Caribbean and has
extensive local knowledge of both. Captain Taylor is an
expert
navigator using either the venerable sextant or the most
state of the art electronic gadgets. |
